Dalemain Mansion in Cumbria is home to The World Marmalade Awards and festival which in its thirteenth year took place on the weekend of 17th and 18th March 2018. This event attracts visitors from across the globe along with a mountain of marmalade for judging. Preserves specialists, expert bakers and food writers such as Pam Corbin, Will Torrent, Xanthe Clay and Dan Leopard have had the challenging task to taste and grade every pot, over the last few weeks leading up to the awards.
We decided to submit an entry for the very first time, selecting two jars of fine cut Seville orange marmalade for the Bed & Breakfast category and are so excited to announce that we received a GOLD award which we serve to our guests each morning.
