Buttermilk Scone Recipe National Cream Tea Society Day

Giving back to our local community…

We loved stepping out of cookery school kitchen and spending time with In Jolly Good Company  to celebrate National Cream Tea Day.  So we shall be joining them once more this summer…

This event has now taken place.  We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who came along.  Your support raised an incredible £1071.00 to help fund the incredible work achieved by ‘In Jolly Good Company’.

We have another fundraising idea in the pipeline and will be sharing details soon!

The guests and volunteers of  ‘In Jolly Good Company’, have organised a quintessential English cream tea event at Wimborne St Giles Village Hall. Everyone is welcome!

We are joining in the fun and would love to welcome you along for a Sunday afternoon treat in the Dorset countryside.  Together we can help raise funds to support this much valued and worthwhile community project. As well as discover all of the great work they do.

Of course the kettle will be on and there will be homemade cakes galore.  The Knitting Angels are setting up a stand and locally grown plants will also be offered for sale.

Lisa Osman from All Hallows Farmhouse Cookery School, says

The incredible opportunities that the team from In Jolly Good Company have created for our community is wholly inspiring.  The founder, Sarah Rampton recognised an urgent need for local people to receive support and kinship. So she set out, totally undeterred, to fulfil this need.  Sarah’s vision has now created an established group of experienced and caring volunteers.  The positive work they carry out together is life changing for our neighbours and friends who are living with dementia and other illnesses.  This achievement deserves to be celebrated.

To support this event, the cookery school is delighted to donate a competition prize draw.
