Sourdough Demonstration In The Farmhouse Kitchen
To celebrate ‘Real Bread Week’ we are including a complimentary bread making demonstration with every holiday cottage reservation made before midnight 23 February 2025.

What is the Real Bread Week
An annual celebration of additive-free bread and the bakers who create it. This is a time to pay homage to additive-free bread, that is a delicious and nutritious far cry from ultra-processed sliced loaves created by the Chorleywood Process.


Real Bread Week Sourdough Baking Demonstration Includes:
*Learn what is a ferment, starter or ‘Mother’ and how it is created
*Watch how to maintain your sourdough starter
*Discover the stages in crafting a real loaf from scratch. This will include an ambient and overnight prove

*We will share ideas of how to fit real bread making into your busy lifestyle
*Show you how we make the most of sourdough discard
*Introduce some sweet and savoury sourdough recipes for you to taste
*Give you ideas of how to use your ‘loaf’ to its full advantage and ensure there is no waste
How to Claim Your Complimentary Baking Demonstration
Simply reserve a stay during 2025 in the holiday cottage.
Confirm your reservation by 23 February and we will include a complimentary 2-hour sourdough demonstration* when you visit.

Booking Terms & Availability
Your complimentary baking demonstration is not transferable or refundable.
Dates are subject to availability for a maximum of six guests.
Please include dietary requirements or allergies at time of booking.
Gluten free alternative is not included.
Complimentary two hour demonstrations take place on check-in days and Saturday mornings only. Whilst we will try to be flexible to ensure your baking session fits around your holiday, please be aware that availability is strictly limited due to cookery school timetable. Thank you.
