Our favourite bowl cover has a new look and we LOVE it.  A fabulous design by Helen Round which will fit snugly over mixing bowls to cover dough while proving.  Ideal to pop over your stand mixer bowl to keep it clean between use.  Suitable for use out of doors on the picnic table or take to the beach, as well as for use in the fridge.

All of our linen bowl covers are easy to keep clean either by hand or machine wash at 30 C.

At the cookery school we use our extra-large bowl covers everyday for ferments, proving dough, marinating and preserves.

Dimensions

One large bowl cover especially made to fit mixing bowls with a maximum diameter of 45 cm.  Ideal for salads, soaking dried fruit to make rich fruit cakes, covering sourdough and other ferments, or pizza dough.

Kitchen Hacks & Tips

Use your bowl cover all year round:

  • Summer –  perfect for eating outdoors.  Easy to pack in a picnic hamper and ideal for covering salads.
  • Autumn – ideal to cover fruit for preserves and compotes.  Great for ferments too.
  • Winter – tuck over a bowl of dried fruit that has been washed and soaked in brandy for cakes and puddings.
  • Spring – slow prove rich Easter buns or cover soaking peel for marmalade making.

All year round – we use ours everyday to cover sourdough starters and dough.

Unlike cling film, linen is breathable so is far better for food storage.
