During the lead up to Christmas 2018, we received a number of frantic emails from new AGA owners who were facing their first festive season in a new home and with an AGA that was ‘new to them’.
We understand that this is a very busy time and you may not have the capacity for a full day of tuition but need the reassurance of personal cookery tuition to ensure that all of your favourite recipes can be adapted perfectly for your cast-iron cooker. We will also share some of our tried and tested favourites so you can ring the changes.
Spend four whole hours, planning your feast with Lisa Osman. Together you will practise cooking any of the traditional festive recipes that usually make you anxious on the day itself. As well as cover cookery techniques and the classic AGA methods. Our philosophy is to teach skills rather than recipes, so we will also show you how traditional dishes can be adjusted to take account of what was available during the busy lead up to the party season and help you plan a well stocked store cupboard. We share our tips and secrets that we have learnt over the last twenty five years in a commercial catering kitchen and working in private clients homes.
At the end of the course you will take home our festive file full of useful recipes, tips and information and we will send electronic copies of your recipes too. If there are any questions that arise after your time with us, Lisa promises that you can contact her at any time for help and advice during a pre-arranged phone call or by email leading up to Christmas Day.
