Every day gluten free AGA cookery class

A new addition to our courses, this class has been developed following personal experience and the need for a complete change of diet during the first lockdown of 2020.

This full day course includes delicious week day meals, quick and easy recipes that can be cooked from scratch using a variety of flours as well as our gluten free sourdough starter.

Great ideas for stress free every day meals as well as special treats for high days and holidays and the importance of a great store cupboard.

Great ideas for ‘stress free’ every day meals as well as special treats for high days and holidays and the importance of a designated gluten free  store cupboard.

All of our recipes are made completely from scratch.  No short cuts here to avoid fillers and packers which create havoc with a sensitive digestion. Instead we are taking advantage of the best that the seasons offer as well as incorporating exciting new flours that bring taste and variety to our menus.

Realistically we know that most households demand delicious meals in super quick time, so we will show you how a little bit of planning at the weekends, goes a long way to ensure you have great tasting meals for the whole family all week.

We will also share our gluten free sourdough recipe, which has been developed since early spring 2020 and you will be welcome to take home a jar of starter so that you can create your own loaves straight away.

Your personal class is available to book at a time to suit you, by prior arrangement:

Sharon and Mark from the Isle of Wight ‘Thinking about the wonderful weekend we have just had, I just wanted to say again a big thank you for everything over this weekend and how appreciative we are of your hospitality.  I was listening to radio four in the car travelling back with Tom Kerridge as the only 2 Michelin star pub owner in the UK. He was saying how if people feel uncomfortable or intimidated in such “gastro temples” it was the fault of the proprietor and not the customer as it was down to them to make their customers feel at ease and at home.  Using that as a comparator, you guys are the epitome of perfect hosts as we both were made to feel so welcome and at home.

For me, the one to one baking tuition of someone so knowledgeable and skilled was a privilege as was the relaxed conversation that we both trusted to share.  I am in awe of your talent, resilience and humanity.’

Joanna and Bruce from Bath ‘What a terrific day! We learnt such a lot and feel much more confident about the AGA we are about to acquire.

Kim and Sheena from Andover and Great Missenden ‘Thank you for such a wonderful weekend, we have learnt an enormous amount.  What a beautiful place to learn to cook! Thank you.’

Susannah and Virginia from Dorset and London ‘We LOVED the day in your kitchen as you may have gathered!’
