Gather a group of friends for a seasonal cookery demonstration in the farmhouse kitchen followed by a late lunch.
Each event is tailored for a group of four guests and as a thank you from us, the host or organiser will receive a £25 gift voucher to spend on our beautiful range of kitchen linens.

Choose from a variety of seasonal classes to hone your skills and add to your seasonal repertoire. Please get in touch to chat through your requirements.
Late Autumn, Early Winter demonstrations include:
Deer in a day – learn how to joint and cook a whole deer, especially sourced from the local estate for your cookery day.
Game cookery – learn how to pluck, draw and joint a pheasant and partridge. Create a variety of seasonal vegetable dishes and traditional accompaniments to serve alongside your favourite game dishes.
Fine chocolate and patisserie – learn how to make pain au chocolat, rich butter chocolate tarts and profiteroles.
Preserving – learn how to prepare jams, jellies, fruit cheeses, vinegar and flavoured gins.
Festive classes include:
Canapes and party food for Christmas and New Year Celebrations
Traditional Italian Festive Bakes to include Panettone and Amaretti
Late Winter, Early Spring classes include:
Traditional Seville Marmalade and cooking with Bitter Oranges
Gluten free cookery to include sourdough
Rich yeast and laminated doughs to include brioche, croissant and Danish*
*Ideally a two day course but can be adapted to suit one day with advance preparation.
Late Spring classes include:
Easter bakes and celebration lunch
Spring greens and new shoots. Gathering wild garlic and nettles for a variety of new season treats.
