Escape to our farmhouse kitchen for a late morning class to perfect your breakfast menus.  An ideal opportunity to learn new skills in a small friendly group (maximum six).  Collect the eggs from our Light Sussex hens and gather fresh herbs from the potager to use in the kitchen.

Our weekend workshops offer a ‘hands on’ cooking workshop in a large farmhouse kitchen where you can enjoy creating a delicious selection of brunch dishes and then make yourself at home around our farmhouse table to pass and share the platters you have just created.

Bake English Muffins on the AGA griddle to make a perfect Eggs Benedict from scratch.  Learn tricks of the trade for poaching eggs and add emulsion sauces to your repertoire.

Cook a tortilla with caramelised onions and potato with slow roasted tomatoes served on the side to take home or enjoy as a late picnic lunch.

We will also demonstrate how to make the most delicious granola or breakfast bars, labna and fruit compote.

Spend two and a half hours creating these recipes in the kitchen and then enjoy the morning’s work at the farmhouse table or in the garden. Freshly ground coffee and orange juice or a fresh fruit smoothie will be included too!

This cookery workshop is ideal for birthday parties and corporate team building. Please contact us for more details of our private cooking parties.

We provide aprons to wear during your class and no equipment is necessary. Please bring a cake tin or basket suitable to take your tortilla home. All recipes will be provided after the class in electronic form.

Allyson and Tom from Swindon – March 2017

‘We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last weekend. We’ve had bircher muesli every morning this week (delicious) and I’ve purchased some yeast to make some focaccia this weekend – Thank you for being so patient and friendly. We’ll definitely recommend you to others.’
